Founder Ken Michienzi
After spending over a decade working for some of Silicon Valley’s most notable companies (Apple, Tesla, SoFi), Ken decided to buy an RV and embark on a year-long tour of the USA and Canada. This trip inspired Ken and helped him come to the realization that community, nature, and adventure were what mattered most to him. He pondered how these three fundamental beliefs could be combined, and The Merrimack Company was born.
Why did you apply for Project Pop-Up?
I applied for project pop-up because I've been brainstorming on an exciting retail strategy for The Merrimack Company, but wasn't really in a position to bring it to fruition without help. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to test out the strategy and location with the proper support to make it a reality
