Daphne Vantine is a Medford, MA-based artist capturing the joyful moments in life. Whether it’s a hike in the forests of Maine, a ski trip to Switzerland, or a simple visit to a local farmer’s market, Daphne’s experiences are translated onto paper by way of gouache paint. Her color palette and subject matter are far reaching, but all pieces are a vibrant reminder to stop and savor the experiences in life, no matter how mundane or magnificent. You can shop original paintings, prints, greeting cards, and calendars on Daphne's online shop or in person at events. Daphne also accepts commissions.

Why did you apply for Project Pop-Up?
Having a shot to test out a retail experience has long been a goal of mine! Typical art markets are one day only and I'm excited to thoughtfully set up a curated retail experience for my brand and be able to connect with the community for multiple days in a row. I hope to be able to make a great impression with my brand and meet a lot of potential customers. I also plan to have a photographer come and take professional photos, which has been difficult since I work from home. This popup will not only help boost sales but also provide an opportunity for me to introduce my work to the greater Boston community.
